How old is he?
If he is old enough to talk to you, ask him what he wants to do. Right now he is immuno-suppressed so naturally, you're not going to push him to limits that his body can't tolerate or put him in any danger. However, it is important that you realize that what he yearns for is not only his health but for normalcy. My advice to you is to contact his Oncologist and ask "What are my son's limitations? What can he do? What should I avoid?" You can call his office so that you don't have to wait until his next appointment to ask.
As far as a prognosis--Unfortunately, we are not his doctor and it would be very unprofessional of me or anyone to give you a prognosis on your son when really, the only person that can give you that is, again, his Oncologist.
