Reactions to anesthesia
Pain
Infection
Bleeding
Fatigue
Injured pelvic organs (bowel and/or bladder)
Urinary incontinence (problems controlling your urine)
Loss of ovarian function and early menopause
Depression
Sexual dysfunction
Growing breasts are not a complication, however, it is something that can be observed post-hysterectomy, due to the hormones. Some women even have milk come in sometimes.
Even though this is something that women have experienced after a hysterectomy, please call your doctor just to make sure that this is something expected and not something that would require attention.
