Welcome back. Tampon use should not have anything to do with your period being delayed. Like pads, tampons need to be removed and replaced every few hours. Teens should opt for slender tampons, because they are smaller, easier to insert, remove and manage. If you are sure your period was due around this time and you are delayed by more then a week. It's best to see a doctor. You might also be having hormonal changes especially being young.
