You do have several symptoms that do need to be examed closely by a doctor. Many things can be the cause of this. From Polyps, Hemorroids, Peptic ulcer so many other causes. Whitening of the tongue can occur when there is a buildup of bacteria and debris on the surface of the tongue due to mild dehydration, illness or dryness. It's definitely important to get a second opinion of a different doctor.
