Well I am a guy and was told I had discoid lupus about 15 yrs ago too, I have no insurance but did serve in the army when I was younger so I finally got a appointment with the V A Hospital Next week. If you served in the military I would suggest V A . Good luck I know sometimes its hard to get help for lupus........
