That will depend on the type of birth control you are taking. If you look up the brand, it should tell you how effective it is when you miss a day or two. Usually they will even have some sort of hotline you can call and ask about their medication and give you some good numbers from their own studies. If I were you, I would start to combine forms of birth control, like taking your pill (ON TIME) and using spermicidals/withdrawl. Or insert a diaphragm. I always feel like if there is a concern, might as well double up to make it safe.
