I think this is a really great article and I never knew about sea sponge tampons. Might give those a go. I was at my wits end with doctors etc. because I was really troubled by vaginal thrush especially the itching. I read on a forum about proskin candida and it was a godsend. I applied it twice each day and after about ten days I was thrush free. I would recommend the natural route if all else fails.
