Yes it is possible. Men can get skin yeast on their penis and be completely unaware they are infected. This type of male yeast infection can lie dormant because the outside of the skin is about 77 degrees. But once the penis is in the vaginal canal, it can cause a vaginal yeast infection in the woman. Before the female notices symptoms, she can give it right back to the male. But a yeast infection can also developed from other causes, like the ones I posted earlier.
