Thank you for your question. You will have to wait to see if you are pregnant. If you were bleeding, even though abnormal, this still could have been a period which means no pregnancy. When couples decide to have children, it often takes up to a year to get pregnant so don't get too disappointed if this time, the pregnancy does not take.
The best part is the you understand that ovulation time is the only time you will be able to conceive so keep going with this theory and enjoy the time trying to get pregnant! ;-)
