Hi Angelina Willium,

According to the FDA there are chemicals in Electronic Cigarettes that may be harmful (similar to regular cigarettes). Some may contain nicotine and others may contain glycerin. I would not advise that you replace regular cigarettes with e-cigarettes during pregnancy. What you can do is taper down on your cigarette use since you are still trying to conceive and then hopefully by the time you do get pregnant you will have significantly reduced the amount of smoking you do regularly.

Another option for you is to take medication such as Chantix or any other that your doctor may think is best for you and quit smoking altogether prior to conceiving.

All the best!
