I've been doing the Jackie Warner diet (there is a workout involved too) now for about 5 days and I have lost about 6 pounds. I have never lost weight so quickly before. I do not feel hungry during the day, only about the time I am going to bed. That is fine with me since I can just sleep through the hunger - I don't need calories at bedtime anyway. I am about 5'3" and started the diet at 154 pounds. I have to say that at first I was very skeptical that 900 calories would be enough for my body since I have always bought into the idea that 1200 calories is the minimum every woman needs. However, I have found that when I stay on a 1200 calorie diet, I lose weight very slowly, if I lose any at all. That is very frustrating to me and makes me want to give up every time. Plus, I feel like the 1200 calorie rule is too general. What about someone who is petite and very small boned like me as compared to a woman who is 5'10" and bigger framed? Since I generally feel so good on the Jackie Warner plan, I will keep at this diet. I am not eating any junk or sugar, only wholesome and nutritious foods so I am fueling my body with only the good stuff that Jackie recommends. That is all the difference. I noticed I haven't needed/wanted an afternoon nap and I have plenty of energy to get everything done during the day, including exercise. If that changes, then I will up my calories. I find that losing weight quickly is extremely motivating to me and have also found that if it's done the right way, it's healthy too.
