Thank you for your question. Since you are 15, the menstrual cycle is all over the place when you are in your early teens. For lack of a better word, they can be crazy. Having long periods, short periods, periods that come and go is not that uncommon when your first starting womenhood. You can go to your doctor and talk to him/her about the Pill perhaps which is not only birth control but also regulates your periods so that they are "regular" such as every 28-32 days. I hope this helps. There is no reason to be concerned if you are not experiencing any pain besides the normal cramping associated with periods. If it continues for several months in a row, you may want to get a check up from your doctor.
