I am so sorry to hear about your daughter in law. Unfortunately, we cannot give you a prognosis on if and when your daughter in law will get better. As difficult as this time is for you, be patient and work carefully and thoroughly with her doctors. Ask them questions. If you do not understand what they are telling you ask them again and make sure they explain things in great detail so that you understand. In the ICU, it is very difficult to say how well or how poorly someone can do because anything goes and things can take a turn for the better or worse rather quickly.
