Even with a hysterectomy, you are still susceptible to STD's. The symptoms are still the same, only the location of the infection (vagina, urethra, etc.) and the tests to detect the STD's are what's different. Keeping your OB/GYN appointments and always mentioning any new symptoms is a good way to ensure that you are properly tested.
