Hi sardon,

Thank you for your question. Muscle spasms are normally involuntary movements although their causes can be several different reasons. Have you ever went to the doctor to get a check up regarding this issue? Dehydration is a common reason why muscles tend to spasm and also a lack of potassium in the body can create leg spasms (usually at night) or they are called the dreaded "charlie horse". In any event, if you have continuous issues, you should always follow up with your doctor. Here is an informational site from Medicine Net that provides a great deal of information regarding muscle spasms http://www.medicinenet.com/muscle_spasms/article.htm.

Following up with your treating physician should always be a number one priority as each person is different. I hope this helps and good luck.

Missie
