I was just reading up on Sjogren's Syndrome since I was not familiar. From what I read, it seems "blood in urine" is not a typical symptom, but some cases the autoimmune disease can affect the organs such as the lungs, liver, pancreas, thyroid and kidneys.
Hopefully, through her upcoming surgery she can determine what may be causing her to experience blood in her urine.
I also found a post on the site with a few comment threads from users who have also experienced Sjogren's. Read them here.
