Hi Healthtrainer,

 

Welcome to EmpowHER. When trying to lose weight, it’s important to eat a healthy and balanced diet that is based on the food pyramid. However, what you eat isn't the only thing that matters when you are trying to lose weight. You must also exercise daily. With both diet and exercise, you can lose weight faster.  Before starting any exercise program it’s important to talk it over with your doctor and get the appropriate check up.
