If he did not release (ejaculate) inside you, there was no need to take ECP. Taking ECP "just in case" can cause unnecessary side effects and possibly a change in the menstrual cycle. Which is likely why your period is late. This is a common side effect. A pregnancy test would be accurate 14-21 days after sex.
