Great post.

Historically, every country has a history of some sort of prejudice against skin color. In some nations, your not "black" enough while in others, caramel colored skin is often revered. In Asian countries, Geisha's are often required to make their faces pure white which signifies "beauty". White people in many countries artificially tan their skin in order to be beautiful.

So does skin color make a difference in professions? What profession? If you are a white man who is prejudice against the brown skin of a Mexican, would you allow your white wife to die as the brown skinned Mexican with his emergency medical vest comes to save your wife's life? Seems to me that skin color prejudices are in the eye of the beholder.
