Welcome to EmpowHER. Egg whites are low in calories and high in protein. Scramble whole eggs or make them into an omelet with sauteed vegetables and low-fat cheese.   Since you are vegetarian, you need as much protein as possible. You might also want to pick food low in fat and whole grains instead of refined grain for breakfast.  Such as, whole wheat bread, oatmeal, rye or cereal. Hope this was helpful?
