Thank you for sharing your question with EmpowHER! I understand your concern, as you have been celibate for 2 years and it may cause some nervousness and concern to have sex again.

That is good you used a condom as it help protect against both pregnancy and STDs. I would also talk openly to the guy you are dating about whether he has been tested for STDs. Although it may seem difficult to bring up, it will let you know for sure about any possible STDs and can help put you at ease.

I researched more information about feeling sick after sex on the internet. It was difficult to pinpoint what the exact cause of that is, but many people have described similar situations. 

Did you recently start taking birth control? Sometimes that can be a cause of nausea when you are first getting back into taking it. 

I would also talk to your doctor and express exactly what you are feeling. This will help determine what is going on and what to do to treat the motion sickness and bloating.
