Your body needs surprises sometimes. So if what you are doing isn’t working, mix it up. Try a new workout. Or up your intensity. Increase the duration of your workout or your pace. Make sure you are sweating! Also, make sure you incorporate both cardio workouts and strength training into your weekly routine. Your muscles are the key to  your metabolism and burning calories while you are at rest. To really torch the calories, try a  HIIT, high intensity interval training workout.
