The skin holding the toe nail finally died and the toe nail came off with no pain. Thank goodness!
The area where the toe nail was is a rough type area and after a month or so I can now see that the new toe nail is growing. Someone had mentioned that when there toe nail grew back that it did not grow back flat but with a ridge going across it and the nail had to be removed and then wait for it to grow back.
I do try to run an emery board across the rough part, very gently of course.
Do you feel that there is a chance this new nail could grow back without any problems?
Also, the portion where the nail was has what seems to be deep bruising. Not sure if it looks like it will go away as there has been no changes since the accident.
Just curious if the chances are that the nail can possibly grow back normal.
