Thank you for sharing your question with the EmpowHER community! We all have different body types and what we eat affects our bodies in different ways. I have some friends that will eat a ton and it doesn't show, while other friends need to be more mindful of what they eat because it shows up easier in added weight.

Are you trying to gain some extra weight? If you are, there are certain foods you can eat that will help you gain some more weight. It's important to not eat just fast foods, but to incorporate more healthy foods in your diet. Some foods you can eat more of include peanut butter, whole milk, more protein like chicken and protein bars or shakes, 100 percent fruit juices, vegetable juice, cheese, eggs and potatoes.

For breakfast, try throwing in an extra slice of whole grain bread with peanut butter, or eat a protein bar between meals as a snack. Eat larger servings of healthy foods that can help you gain weight.

If you do want to gain weight, eat constantly throughout the day rather than leaving big gaps of not eating. Instead of eating three large meals each day, try eating six meals that include protein, veggies, fruit and healthy fats. 

It may also be a good idea to talk to a dietician. They are trained in determining the best diets to follow and the can help make a healthy diet for you that will help you gain weight.
