It is important to understand that hot flashes are a normal process for women. However, it doesn't mean you have to put up with suffering through them. A recent study came out saying that when women's hot flashes aren't treated, it can cost the economy millions of dollars. When women get hot flashes, a lot have more doctor's visits and some even drop out of work. I would suggest also setting up and appointment with your doctor to talk about your hot flashes and treatments for them. Explain to your doctor the symptoms you are experiencing and have a discussion about finding a good treatment option.
