First, it's good that you caught this. You should continue with the rest of the pack as usual. Since you will be one pill short of your active pills during this pack there is some chance of pregnancy and you may want to consider adding another form of birth control, such as the use of a condom, during this pack. In terms of your period it's not likely to be impacted by this since only one pill was involved.
