Implantation bleeding is scant spotting, pink or brown in color, and occurs about 6 to 12 days after ovulation and fertilization. It happens when the fertilized egg implants itself in the lining of the uterus.
Levels of hCG, which is the hormone produced only during pregnancy, can be detected in urine about 12 to 14 days following conception. You will need to take a pregnancy test to determine if you're pregnant.
