Hi Anon,

Thank you for reaching out to EmpowHER with your question! Your fallopian tubes connect your ovaries (where eggs are released) to your uterus (the womb of your body). The uterus is where fertilized eggs turn into a fetus. When both of your fallopian tubes are removed, it is very difficult to get pregnant naturally.

However, you can try to become pregnant through in vitro fertilization (IVF). With IVF, eggs are removed from your ovary and mixed with sperm outside the womb to create a fertilized egg. The egg is then placed back into your womb.

Are you hoping to have a child? If you are, I would talk to your doctor or visit a fertility or IVF specialist to talk about your situation and how IVF would work.

I hope this has helped! Please keep me updated and let me know if you have further questions.

Best,
Erin
