Your period might just be a couple of days late or the test is not detecting the hcg pregnancy hormone. Try taking a brand name test and test again tomorrow morning when you first wake up.
If the test comes back negative again, just be patient, I am sure your period will come. if you are 7 days late and still a negative test, contact your doctor.
