There are various things that can cause late, more irregular periods including stress, illness, birth control, medication, excessive weight gain or weight loss, exercising more often, travel.
You said you have been taking strong medication while you are sick with chickenpox. It is very possible that may be delaying your period as medications and illness can disrupt your cycle and make your period late.
Are you using some sort of birth control as you are having sex? Anytime you have unprotected sex, your chance of pregnancy is higher. However, in your situation, it is very likely that your sickness and medication has disrupted your regular menstrual cycle.
