Hi Anon,

Thank you for visiting the EmpowHER community and sharing your question.

Anytime you have unprotected sex, you risk pregnancy.  A pregnancy test can be taken 10-14 days after unprotected sex and when taken correctly, will certainly be accurate by the time your period is due. Since you are late, the pregnancy test should be very accurate by now.

I am sure you are just fine. You could always take a blood test at your doctor's office if you really want to know 100%. Otherwise, try a new brand of test and do it first thing in the morning.

Cramping and minor discharge is normal before you get your period, so it might be coming. Stressing out will only delay it, so try and keep your mind off of it. I know, easier said then done, but try.

I hope this help Anon.

Best,

Kristin
