Kristin is right! There are a lot of causes for such sudden pains like plantar fasciitis, sprains, arthritis, bunions etc. If it is a normal pain then there is nothing to worry about! It will go away gradually. But since yours persist for a long period now and doesn’t show up any other symptoms, I believe it won’t be a critical problem. But to be on the safer side, check it with a doctor. I am a regular jogger and have encountered a sudden agonizing pain on my foot one day after jogging. I couldn’t even stand on my foot without calling for help. My husband took me to a well known foot clinic in Mississauga ( http://www.erinmillshealth.com/services/chiropodyfootcare/ ) which helped me get rid of that excruciating pain. Apart from the treatment I did (chiropody) there is an other similar treatment called reflexology. Since you haven’t specified any details it is better to consult a specialist to know which treatment is apt to opt for.
