I'm so sorry to hear about this horrible experience you had. I'd like to give you a tip on the situation.
As you probably know, when your ovaries and uterus is removed you experience forced menopause. During this "artificial menopause" your progesterone and estrogen levels decrease dramatically. When your estrogen levels decrease your body searches for estrogen sources and the best source is in fat cells causing your body the convert calories into fat cells to retain more estrogen. To make up for lack of progesterone causes bloating which also looks like and feels like weight gain.
With this being said, you may not need surgery to remedy the weight gain. You probably need hormone replacement therapy. I suggest that you look into that first.
