I am very pleased to read all these comments. I too was in a car accident and suffered terrible injuries to my ankle. I am now 18 months post fusion and can identify with all these comments. It’s good to know that I am not the only one who feels the loss.i used to walk a lot and now find I have trouble walking for too long. I cannot walk at sped which will help weight loss. But I do feel grateful to still have the ankle as it could have been an amputation. Maybe this is the year that I might find some normality. I do feel thankful for what I have.
