I am having a little trouble understanding how long you have been off your pills.
If you have missed 3 days or more of the pill and your period should start soon, then wait till you have your period ends and then start a new pack.
Missing pills always increases your chances of pregnancy and the most obvious symptom of pregnancy is an irregular period. However, missing pills can also disrupt your cycle. In conclusion, wait for your period. If it does not come or seems irregular, take a pregnancy test. If you period comes and seems regular you can still take a pregnancy test if you wish, but I suggest that you simply continue taking the next pack of birth control pills.
