Unfortunately there is no standard treatment for pityriasis rosea because the cause is unknown. But below I have listed some things you may want to try if you haven't already.
avoid overheating, and hot showers/baths
cool oatmeal baths may help reduce itching
use moisturizers or calamine lotion while skin is damp
use as little soaps as possible and when you do, use gentle products such as Dove or Johnson&Johnson
some topical steroid creams that may help are: Antibiotic Erythromycin, Zovirax, or Famvir.
