Its hard for me to answer for women since I am a man, so I will answer for people in general.

First off, most people don't understand how weight loss works, and why people have extra weight to begin with.

The first misconception I want to clear up. Is the idea of of your body as a math equation. A lot of people think, if I am burning more calories than I am eating, then I will loose weight.

Wrong.

Your body is a chemistry lab not a math equation. Burning calories is a chemical reaction, and with any good chemical reaction there are catalysts and inhibitors.

Second, people don't really understand what fat is for the body. They only get this part half right. Most people think it only stores energy. While it does store energy, this is not its only function.

Fat is used to protect the body from toxins. Your body stores toxins in fat, until they can be safely released via detoxification. If you burn a lot of calories without detox, you can loose the fat temporarily, but eventually most of the fat will come back as your body tries to protect yourself from the toxins.

Third, people don't really understand the thyroid. Your metabolism for the most part is determined by the health of your thyroid. It will be easier to loose weight if your metabolism is higher, which is natural if your thyroid is healthy.

My recommendation is start taking Iodine.

Most people don't get enough Iodine to begin with.

Iodine serves several functions, but the 2 I want to focus on are as follows.

Iodine, helps your body to detoxify. It will help you release toxins safely. This will allow you to loose the fat permanently if you are already exercising.

Iodine, promotes a healthy thyroid, thus increasing metabolism. This means the effectiveness the exercise you do is multiplied, and your base resting metabolism is higher as well.

Iodine is also very cheap. You can get an eye dropper filled with 1000+ doses for 7 to 9 dollars. Literally you can get all the iodine you would need to supplement for a year for less than 10 dollars.

Some people want to believe weight loss is hard. Well it's certainly more emotionally rewarding if you had to work hard to make it happen. But you don't have to.

I am 28 now. I have dropped 30 pounds in a few months. I now wear pants that I couldn't fit into in high school.

A side note for men reading this: Iodine can cause night fall. If you want to avoid that take it at least 6 hours before you are going to bed.
