Technically, you are not too young for the Mirena. However, the symptoms you are experiencing are not usual side effect of Mirena. Mirena is supposed to reduce menstrual bleeding and cramps not make them worse. And it should not reduce sex drive.
You are also more likely to expel the Mirena if you:
have never been pregnant
have heavy or prolonged periods
have sever menstrual pain
are younger than 20
After considering these facts, I want to suggest that Mirena is not right for you. There are other effective birth control methods that may be better for you, such as the oral contraceptive pills.
