Since the location of the pain is very particular to the kidney it could be related to kidneys problem. Especially if the pain wraps around your sides to the back. If the pain continues, I highly suggest you have an ultrasound taken of your kidneys.
Symptoms of kidney trouble can arise suddenly and can be very serious, that is why you should not put off going to the doctor if the pain persists.
