Sometimes it can appear that you have 2 periods in one month if it lapses between months. For example your period can start in the later days of one month and continue into the first days of the next month. The important thing is to find out if your periods are less then 28 days a part.
If you have full periods shorter than 28 days apart you should see your doctor. It could be as simple as imbalanced hormones or it could be something more serious.
