I also had the same injury and surgery. Accident occurred june 27th and the top of my foot and toes is where the majority of the pain is. Almost spasms or electric shocks. Swelling is so bad skin peels. Swelling has not subsided (only Slightly). Although I take my advil/aleve and elevate. Sleep is very disturbed due to how uncomfortable I am.
Surgeon says this is a normal reaction. But for how long?
