It is very common to miss periods or have irregular periods during your adolescent years. It does not signify a disease or that something is "wrong" with you. It simply means your body has some hormonal imbalances.
Herbal treatments are much better for your health than taking hormones such as birth control pills; which is usually what doctors give girls who don't have a regular period.
However, it is not necessary to have a regular period unless you are trying to get pregnant or you have severe PMS.
Since bloating is a consistent issue for you, it is probably not related to your menstrual cycle but your diet.
You can get an ultrasound of your ovary if it continues to give you pain.
