Guide

Hello and thank you for choosing EmpowHer,
Since PCOS cannot be traced to one particular cause your overall health will greatly effect if it gets worse or better.
Healthy eating a regular exercise is everything. Bring fruit with you at all times so that you can keep your blood sugar from crashing. An apply, some grapes, a banana, strawberries etc. Any fruit is the perfect healthy snack for low blood sugar. In general have a diet heavy of fruits, vegetables, and whole grains. Whole grains simply means that you are eating the whole kernel whether it be wheat, corn, oats, rice etc. Stay away from canned foods, frozen foods, or any other processed foods.
Exercising does not have to be complicated. A mile or 2 jog around the neighborhood 4 or 5 times a week is enough. Just make sure your heart rate is elevated for at least 20min each time you exercise. Feeling lethargic can actually become a vicious cycle. For example, you feel lethargic so you don't exercise. Then not exercising makes you feel lethargic. So be sure to push past the lethargy and get the exercise you need.
There are many natural herbal remedies that work just as well or better than drugs that will not give you side effects. If you do not wish to continue taking Glucophage at a certain point, feel free to ask more about other options you can use for PCOS.
