I get the bit that sperm can only be in pre-ejaculate fluid if the guy had a previous ejaculation (which i don't think he did because he was pretty much with us all day) and don't even think he masturbated.
The thing i don't get is when you said 'sperm can remain in the urethra'- Is this also implied if he had ejaculated earlier? I only ask this because i do not exactly remember if he urinated
