If by pregnancy pill you mean an emergency contraceptive, I can only say if you followed the instructions on how to take it. Most products suggest it is more effective the sooner you take it after unprotected sex.
Because it does contain hormones, an common side effect is that your menstrual cycle will become irregular. You can take a home pregnancy test to rule out pregnancy, but most likely you are not pregnant and just need to give your body time to re-adjust to the hormones.
