Hello and welcome to EmpowHer,
Any time you experience heavy bleeding and/or bleeding often you need to see a doctor immediately! There are many possible reasons this could be happening but the most likely reason is that your body is no longer responding correctly to the hormones released by the implant. Unusually heavy or prolonged bleeding while using the implant signifies a serious problem.
Other possible causes can include:
-sexually transmitted infections
-thyroid problems
-uterine cysts, polyps, or fibroids

More possible causes are listed here in an article by EmpowHer,

I strongly suggest that you see your doctor right away to get a pap smear/pelvic exam to rule out any causes unrelated to the implant. Then also discuss a new method of birth control if your doctor believes that is the cause.
