Guide

Hello and welcome to EmpowHer,
The vagina, cervix and uterus treat sperm as an intruder, so sperm generally will not survive long in those areas. However, if the sperm makes it to the fallopian tubes then it can live up to 5 days. This means there is a chance for the egg to be fertilized if released during that time.
So, assuming your male partner ejaculated, had healthy sperm, and the sperm traveled all the way to the fallopian tubes, and was still alive when you ovulated, then there may be a slight chance of pregnancy occurring.
