First of all, ovulation normally occurs about 13-16 days after your period. So even if you were not on the pill, you would not be ovulating, and therefore would not become pregnant.
Missing a pill by one day will not cause ovulation. You need to miss 7 or more pills to rick ovulating. You should never take emergency contraception at the same time as birth control pills because both contain hormones and can immensely off-balance your hormones.
