Keep in mind that you can only become pregnant if you are ovulating. There are about 12-24 hours after the egg in released that it can be fertilized. This happens about 12-15 days before your period.
In other words, if you were not ovulating at the time, there is no egg to fertilize.
If you were ovulating however, it is a good idea to take an emergency contraception pill. Be aware that a common side effect is bleeding a few days after taking the pill. This is not your period, or implantation bleeding. It may also disrupt your cycle, but this still does not indicate pregnancy.
