Taking emergency contraception does not prevent STD's nor does taking regular birth control pills. Only using condoms will help prevent STD's.
Also, the pill is not effective after 3 days from having sex. However, if you were not ovulating during the time you have sex, you will not become pregnant anyway.
If you miss your next period, take a pregnancy test.
